Your crisper drawers are one of the best ways to help preserve your food and reduce food waste but do you really know how to use them?
Here is a quick guide to help you organize your fresh foods.

  1. High & Low Humidity – If your drawers have an option, select high humidity in one drawer, and low humidity in the other.
  2. High Humidity – store leafy vegetables such as spinach, lettuce and thin-skinned fruits and vegetables like strawberries, raspberries, and grapes.
  3. Low Humidity – store thicker-skinned fruits and vegetables like onions, peppers, and tomatoes.
  4. Things NOT to store together: apples & bananas.
