It’s not very often you find someone who gets to do their life’s passion for a living but for Institute of Home Science expert Anna Carl it is a reality.
Born into a culture of great food, Anna learned to love cooking by being surrounded by great cooks who took just as much pride in the food they grew.
As a consumer scientist in the cooking performance lab, Anna spends most of her day testing new and existing products but surprisingly Anna’s career started in our law department.
Outside of the lab, the Julia Child fan collects cookbooks and loves browsing antique stores for that perfect primitive find but the outdoors is clearly Anna’s second passion. In the winter, you’ll likely find Anna and her family speeding through the fresh powder on snowmobiles.
